Argan oil

Beyond our region of the Aegean, South West of the Mediterranean to Morocco, we encounter the amazing benefits of the Argan tree. Argan oil which is extracted from the tree’s kernels, has been growing in popularity for the past years as one of nature’s most effective moisturisers. It’s naturally grown in a small semi-dessert region which is now protected under UNESCO for its rarity and heritage value. Special local programs assist with new plantations in order to meet high demand. Moroccans have been using the oil for generations as a healthy food source and natural therapy for the body.

Rich in nutrients, antioxidants and high in vitamin E, it’s been used extensively for its benefits on skin and hair. Most commonly used for its hydrating and softening abilities, it has a quick absorption rate and is non-greasy.

Active ingredients include tocopherols, squalene, sterols, carotenes and phenolic antioxidants which assist with protection and renewal of skin cells. Its antimicrobial properties help with treating skin inflammation, acne and other skin disorders.

When it comes to hair, its nutrients penetrate the shaft and follicles to assist with moisturizing and repairing, giving strength, volume and shine. It also helps with itchy, dry scalp and split ends as well as help delay hair loss.

Argan oil has been referred to as ‘liquid gold’, used on the whole body from top to bottom for healthy skin, hair and nails.

Aeolis has included argan oil in all its product range to date. Another valuable ingredient which contributes to the effectiveness of the aeolis brand.
